Summer Term:
Our theme is 'Science in Action'.
For our Base camp day we will be scientists visiting different classes around the school to see some really exciting experiments and experiences!
We will also be having a 'Bug ball' where the children will start their learning about minibeasts.

Minibeasts
Spring Term
Our Topic this Spring Term is 'Express it'. The children have taken part in 'base camp' activities to explore this new topic and to get us excited and to help plan where the learning will take us.
For Base Camp the children became artists and created their own masterpiece which we have displayed in our class gallery.
We also talked about what we already knew and wanted to find out and we came up with three enquiry questions to lead our learning...
1. How do we express our interests?
2. How do we express our nationality?
3. How do we express our feelings through art?

The children had a lovely time exploring the Little City Role Play. For our topic Heroes and Helpers we have learning about helpers in our community. We were able to dress up as these helpers and role play their daily routines. We became Doctors, nurses, post officers, vets, hairdressers and much more
