We have also begun our horse riding sessions for the year with the RDA!
Summer Term 2026
Our Summer Summer topic ‘Science in Action’ was bursting with fun. We explored Minibeasts, had Green Fingers digging, planting, and growing, and we blasted off as Space Explorers. Through hands on sensory play with water, colours, sound, magnets, animals, and dinosaurs, children we explored cause and effect and learned to explore the world around us with our senses.
Our three enquiry questions were:
- Where do butterflies and frogs come from and where do they live?
- What would we find in Space?
- What different colours can we see and make?
We hatched our own butterflies and watched over the weeks as tadpoles turned into frogs in our very own frog habitat.
- W?
We learned all about colour mixing.
A Fun packed Summer term!
With a class trip to Dizzy's Castle to round of the fun!!
