How Humanities is taught
Humanities lessons at Cefn Cribwr are designed to be interesting, meaningful and engaging. Learning is often:
- Enquiry‑based, encouraging children to ask and explore real questions
- Linked across subjects, helping children make connections in their learning
- Rooted in real‑life experiences, such as learning about our local community, Wales and the wider world
- Progressively developed as children move through the school, building knowledge and skills over time
- We use a range of teaching approaches including discussion, storytelling, practical activities, research, creative tasks and outdoor learning so that all pupils can take part and succeed.
Supporting the Curriculum for Wales
