Humanities at Cefn Cribwr Primary School

At Cefn Cribwr Primary School, our Humanities curriculum helps children understand the world they live in and their place within it. Through Humanities learning, pupils explore the past, learn about the present and consider how their actions can shape the future.

What children learn in Humanities

Through Humanities learning at Cefn Cribwr Primary School, children are encouraged to:

• Explore people, places and events from the past and understand how they link to life today
• Develop respect for different beliefs, values and viewpoints
• Understand how people interact with the natural environment and why sustainability matters
