These are the enquiry questions that the children have created to focus on this Autumn Term:

Base Camp Day

During our Base Camp learning we looked at pictures from World War II, including evacuees, shelters, rationing, soldiers, and planes. The children shared what they thought was happening and posed questions. We also listened to WW2 sounds like air raid sirens and wartime music, and talked about how they made us feel. Finally, the children made their own Medal of Bravery and discussed who they thought deserved a medal—like a soldier, nurse, doctor, or someone in their own family. 

Muddy Monday

During this week's Muddy Monday session, we picked apples and pears from the trees on our school field, gave them a good wash and enjoyed tasting them. They were delicious!

22/09/25 - We enjoyed retelling the story ‘The Gruffalo’s Child’ during our Muddy Monday session this afternoon. We used natural materials to build scenes from the story, such as the snake’s log pile house!
